The Dance World Cup (DWC) 2024 took place from June 27th to July 6th with the participation of 54 countries at the Congress Centre in Prague. Uwe Meusel, together with other authors, has written the first volume of “The Sound of Tap”: The Swing Years (1926-1945), an English-language book about audible and predominantly European tap dance history (with 235 musical examples).
For the last time, the 2023 World Championships took place in Riesa / Germany (since 1999), which caused sentimental feelings among many. As always, everything was very well organized.
