Uwe Meusel, together with other authors, has written the first volume of “The Sound of Tap”: The Swing Years (1926-1945), an English-language book about audible and predominantly European tap dance history (with 235 musical examples).
This is currently available for subscription (for € 198,- instead of later € 248,-) at the Kamprad publishing house (https://vkjk.de/tap.html) until October 31, 2023, and absolutely needs more pre-orders to reach publication safely. The point is to preserve this rare material and the knowledge of the tap dancers who preceded us for the European history of tap dancing.
